Grape Vine Wood....

SO I just got some grape vine wood for my cham's cage... any one suggested I do anything to it before I put it in? Need advice on this, Im use to fake stuff! Thanks!!!

You could put it in the oven at a low temp for about 20 mins but keep an eye on it.

Also might want to give it a scrub with a 3:1 bleach/water mix.

That being said it is probably fine as is

As grape vine wood is pretty soft it will absorb moisture. Eventually it will mold in places that stay damp a lot of the time. Be prepared to remove it and scrub it occasionally.

In my experience, grape wood is not the best for enclosures. Like people said it is very soft and porous. This causes it to mold quickly and decay. I think manzanita is a little better
