So, I ordered my silkworms from my local pet store so that I would have recourse if something goes wrong, and thankfully I did. They arrived moldy and mostly dead. The pets store told me to take them and they would order new ones for next week. I wasn’t about to feed my cham nasty sick silkworms, but I took them to see if some fresh leaves and a clean cage could help the few remaining... well this morning they are all dead and nasty. Im kinda pissed but at least they are getting me new ones for free... but what happens if these one show up and are crap too? Anyone have suggestions on where to get good ones?

If the new ones are just as bad, demand refund(dont settle for store credit)....and then order from one of the site sponsors......I like mulberry...

these came in a mullberry farms container, but I think they went through a third party, so that may have been the problem.

Ouch....ok.....try calling mulberry and see if their willing to confirm they sold to your pet store........

next time check them first before you pay for them in store.

My store doesnt stock them so I had to pay in advance for the order, but they are trying one more time, which I appriciated. Im just clad I checked them before I left the store.

I used to order silks from coastal silkworms, and get crix, supers, etc at petco/mart now I just order all of my feeders from mulberry for convenience.

silkworms

I ordered my silkworms from Coastal silkworms. They were perfect condition and lasted for a few weeks. I believe they may be a sponsor of the forums here, if not, I'd recommend them.
