he is a cute little guy..i am wondering if the red background might stress him out, i know chams can get stressed with aggressive colors. maybe someone more experienced with this can give their opinion.

Set up looks good and I think the maroon/red wall is ok. But maybe another plant to fill in a little.

Ok, maybe I'll get a bigger more grown ficus with more branches, I asked at my local grocery store which has a large plant section and they don't sell them, I will hunt one down! Maybe I should put a wall covering up in that corner:confused::confused::confused:

Shells! GO TO HOME DEPOT! haha the one by the go station and oakville place, i got a ficus and umbrella plant there for 10$ each the ficus was probably around 3' and the umbrella plant is like a bush lol but i suggest going there to look for plants :D

Definitely Home Depot! You can get a small ficus or a nice umbrella plant for cheap. You can also get a pothos, put it on the bottom, then wind the branches "up" the enclosure. You don't have to get anything huge, as these plants usually grow pretty well.
BTW, I had some my chams against this same colour red. If they were stressed I couldn't tell.

Ok thanks you two, home depot it is! haha. I'm glad your chams weren't bothered by the red, I don't see him being bothered, he goes up against the back wall close to the red with no problems.

So I put a 60 watt energy saver bulb in but it doesn't seem to give off much heat, he seems ok though and the temp says 70 degrees, is that ok?

Anything else he can eat other than crix at 4 wks old? Thanks guys!

Hi your setup is looking good. I agree with everyone else that more plants from home depot will be a good thing. Also, you want the basking spot...(a place where your cham can hang out on..usually a couple of sturdy branches) about 5-6" under the basking bulb to have a temp of 78-82 degrees. Put your thermometer right on the basking spot to measure it. If it's too hot or not hot enough you can raise your basking lamb up or down. If that doesn't work pick up different watt of bulb while you are at home depot. Hope this helps :)

Ya I think the bulb needs to be a higher wattage, its pretty cool in there, I'll get another plant too, the one I have in there right now is quite small, so I'll buy a larger one. Thanks!:)
