I appreciate the information you guys have posted on the site. I helped me to make the decision to get the chams. I ended up buying a male and a female panther from FLChams. Mike, thanks for your help.

Congrats!

Congrats on your new chams. I love the expression the female has in the picture you posted. I'm also hoping that you have them in separate cages.....

They are together at the moment, they will be in separate cages this week. They are both eating well and seem to be doing well.

How old are they? They should be sparated before they turn 4 months or they may mate which would be bad for the females health and would shorten her life. (though they generally are not sexually mature at 4 months, it never hurts to be too careful. Especially when health comes into play.)

They are both great looking though! Who are the sires?

Kestahn is the sire for the male. I am not sure about the sire foor the female.
They are about 7 months old. They are not ready to mate. I have a cage coming but I might improvised one if I see they are getting stressed.

They can breed at 7 months and you really do not want them too. Stress is not always easy to notice until it is often too late.

They look beautiful! Might I suggest you put another vine above the plant so they can bask under the heat. Just for added stability. Plants are quite flimsy at times :p

At seven months they should definitely be separated. I don't recommend breeding until the female is at least a year old!

I will come up with something tomorrow. I noticed the male got displaced from his sleeping spot and was hanging from the cage tonight.
