Yesterday I was away from home all day and I asked someone to attend to my chams and they left the cage open and my 3 month veiled escaped .. they have an outdoor setup so she's now lost in the wild...
Yoshi is gone. I am sorry. Only way to overcome this tragedy is get Yoshi II, and make him a panther this time...Preferably a morph Nosy Be/Blue Bar Ambilobe I'll bet you searched high and low. Sorry for your loss.

So sorry to hear he's lost...Have you tried looking for him? I had a veiled a couple years back the hinge on his cage broke off...and I found him a few days later on the roof of my second story of the house I was renting...Not to mention I was under a time crunch because we were moving out in a week!!!!
I never gave up the search even though my husband said i would never find him again...I hope you do find him that would be a great story to tell!
Thanks everybody.. it was a sad day today but we still have our older senegal cham "koopa" to cheer us up.. we do plan on getting another cham.. hopefully a panther ..(never as a replacement but an addition) although yoshi was one of a kind.. shell be missed.
If I were you, I would try to think like a chameleon. Meditate at the spot where she escaped, and ask mother nature to help you find her before she dies of starvation. I don't know where you live, but I Emagine that even in crappy conditions a lizard will still survive for days. Look up. Allllllll the way up. Within like 40-100 feet of the crime scene is there a tree or fence or anything above eye level? I used to catch rattlers and other reptiles in AZ for the herp society, and I got really good at it when I started to pretend I was an animal. They follow walls, and climb. Good luck to you friend.
