I never know that such a little girl could cause such a turmoil! After a little over a week of fretting, showering, laxative, supplementing, and pacing, Little Miss Georgie is at peace and no longer suffering. Thank you to all who offered advice and prayers!! I did not know what a great support system I would find when I stumbled upon this forum!!

I am so sorry for your loss. These little animals have a way of getting right into our hearts. My thoughts and prayers are with you.

Georgie was well loved and you did all you could for her. I am sorry the end was hard for you both.RIP Miss Georgie

so sorry for your loss. She was lucky to have had you. I know you put alot of time and care into trying to get her well. Sorry she did not make it.

Thank you for all of your well wishes! I am such a softy and this whole incident has been emotionally draining. I don't think I cried this hard when I lost my finch Mr Bird after hatching him and he lived to the ripe old age of 11 years! I can't tell you how many babies he had with his 3 mates. Lost count after about 30, lol. And each of his mates passed after 5, 6 & 8 years. Don't recall being this upset over them, either. But am going to give myself a little time before I jump into the ring again. To all who are going through what I am going through now, best of luck! And to new Cham parents, PLEASE don't make the same mistakes I did and do LOTS of research to ensure your little one doesn't fall to the same fate my little Georgie did. Peace and Love!
