Goodbye Jigsaw. :(

Well, this morning I was turning on the lights for my reptiles and I was going to feed my new turtle, come to see the turtle stiff as a board and breathless. I miss him so much. I never knew how much I actually cared about the little guy. But its actually very hard even after a week. Its hard to actually typing this.. I just want to go home and hide.. R.I.P. Jigsaw. I will always remember you even if we only knew eachother for a week.

I am not sure. It could have been the PH levels in the water, it could have been the water temps, it could have been that he was just a sick little turtle.. but nothing is really leading to a solid answer on his passing.

Sometimes young turtles don't have the will to live.

It's natures way I guess.

Thank You all. I took some PH tests so I can determine whether or not it was the cause. I am waiting to see what happened. I just buried him and it was one of the hardest thing to do..

Update

Well I have somewhat of an update for you..

The results are:

Nitrate: Safe
Nitrite: Stress (but it was the lowest level)
Total Hardness: Hard
Total Alkalinity: Lowest Level (low)
pH: Neutral

It wasn't anything with my water.. So I think it was Failure to Thrive.
