Lil Louie got some nice outdoor time on his free range plant today that he has always enjoyed. Well when you see the pictures you will understand why he is grounded from it:cautious:. I also have a taller hibiscus on my back patio in a 2 ft tall pot and when I tried to put him on it he tried climbing down again:mad:. He will now be in his large bird cage on the patio when he is outdoors. This is why you should NEVER leave them even for a second unattended.:wideyed: he is 5 months old and growing fast. Nice shots Cindy! Little Louie’s getting gorgeous colors. It seems all the boys are full of energy today.

They can disappear fast. You need a big coral around his plant for when you are watching because they can be sneaky.

His uncle Sunny used to do the SAME thing on my lanai. That is screened, but he would climb down out of his 6' ficus, cross the lanai and climb up a large piece of driftwood I have on one of the walls that is covered by air plants and bromeliads. Because the entire lanai is screened I would let him be out there by himself, checking on him periodically. The first time he did this it took me forever to find him! Now his favorite spot is in the ficus looking out over the backyard like he's Simba surveying his territory!

Yep...it definitely runs in the family. I knew the day I picked him up at Jann's and he could climb the glass tiles in her kitchen walls at 2 months old he was going to have to keep my eyes on him. Can't help but love him.
