Woke up this morning and went in to check on our newest arrival, Zeus, and to my surprise, I find one of our cats sitting in front of his cage. Guess he wanted to check in on him too!

Cage in the floor, cat around the cage, cham grabbing the upper part of the cage...
This is going to be a chronic stressor. Try to modify either the placement of the cage or the access of the cat to it

Please as soon as you can, get the cage on a table of some sort. The cat in front is probably causing stress beyond belief. Chameleons can literally die from stress. Take care of the little guy.

Sorry for the late response everybody, I got caught up doing some stuff around the house. But the placement of his cage is temporary! We are in the middle of repainting the room the chameleons belong in and we didn't want them around all the fumes. Once we are finished, his cage will be back on the end table. Also, the cats are never allowed in with the chameleons unless we are in the room with them. But if one of the cats gets into the room because someone forgot to close the door, there isn't much I can do about that, which is what happened this morning. We have no intentions on purposely stressing our chameleons and we do the very best we can to take care of them.
