Trace, What kind of uvb lighting you used?
I suggest reptisun 5.0 Linear not compact.
I also suggest a repcal with vit D3. I think you need to boost the supplement a bit more for that chameleon. :D

My God Trace, Judging by you chameleons legs I think he has a bad case of MBD! (mechanical bot-cham disorder)
And what happened to his nails?!!

hey benny ive been breeding whats in that pic ive been told tanzanian sidestripe or chameleo rudis or dwarf mountain chameleon can you post a pic of a true rudis?

True Chamaeleo (Trioceros) rudis do not live in Tanzania. In fact, all the "rudis" that are sold in the US are actually Chamaeleo (Trioceros) sternfeldi. True Ch. (T.) rudis are high elevation species that experience very large temperature drops at night. Other than locality, you can differentiate the two species by their parietal crest.

Here are a couple photos of true Ch. (T.) rudis from a couple people's flickr sites:

Informative! I love it, thanks for posting that. Now thats one weird primative looking little dinosaur aint it!~ wow Do you keep those at all?

Hi,

thanks Chris for posting the pics. Nicola Lutzmann told me the same, he was one of the only persons ever who keeps them. They need very cold temperatures, he keeps them in a refrigerator for wine bottles with some spots to get very big temperature differences between night and day.

Regards
Benny
