well guys some of you maybe remeber my post about my panther chameleon sexing ... took it to the vet turned out to be a female =/ contacted who sold it to me and said he will get me a male just got it right now and seems likes its going to be a real screamer :D deff about 3.5 4 months and guess what :D was finishing his shed when i picked him up... the only bad thing is that it is a bit dehydrated but as soon as he go to his new home i put the dripper and misted around and drinking like crazy seems like is going to be a very nice & friendly cham :$ i will post pics later dont want to bother him... just wanted to share my excitement :D :D :D :D :D

I was just in a similar situation, but the Petstore wasnt so kind with us. Saying, "We cant guarantee sex, and there is only a 3 day return policy" even though they were charging an $80 dollar difference. They said we could come exchange out little girl for what we thought was a boy, because apparently the people running the reptile department cant tell the difference but will charge you for it! Thing is that all the chams in the cage were female, and they still had the sign up "$250-males,$170-females." needless to say they wont get anymore of my business, and im going out of my way to give them bad reviews/ratings on google search.

cant wait to see pics of your new guy though!

atleast mine was 120 :p and it sux cause you get attached thinking its a male and stuff and then you have to return it -.-" smh!!! i will post pics 2moro when i take him out for a bit of sun rays :)

Sounds real good - he'll love you straight away for the water, and he'll want to eat straight away after the shed....so get him hand feeding and tame is only one step away.......so have fun, mine are going out tomorrow too if it's not cloudy, remember to be careful of course :D

LOL. I'd sure like to know what your vet did to sex that animal. I like to just post the link to that "how to sex baby panthers" thread to help teach more people what to look for and didn't identify it but you had a male the first time.

Glad you got a nice colorful one now, though. :)
