Well, after having our veiled chams about a year, we figured they should get a chance, and we should try. Our female layed the first mated batch of eggs the 13th. The incubator arrived today, immediately got them situated. I hope it doesnt ruin them. I didnt dig them up until time to place them. We will officially know when candling. So far they show something in them. Wish us luck on our first attempt.

We have read much on the topic, but more info is always better.
What are must read and must know things?
Quirky details?
Any info i ought to know?

You should be fine with 2 days in the dirt. There have been many times where mine have laid while I was out of town and it took me a couple of days to get to them. Just keep in mind that the more days out from laying the more careful you need to be with keeping them oriented the same as they were laid.

You are going to do great!
