hi everyone i was just curious if this is a common thing for a cham to do,the first time i saw alfred chewing and stripping twigs in his cage was about a week and a half ago. well yesterday i took him outside yesterday and put him on a hibiscus plant out side and he did the same thing and i think this time he ate a couple pieces. today he seems a little down and lacks some of his color . could this have affected him in any way? is this common? or is this one big coinsedence and hes just having a bad day? thanks alot any help is appreciated

Do you have a veiled? They love to eat fruits and veggies. Offer him some very small slivers of collard green, apple, banana, strawberry and grape and just see what all he likes. My female loves to eat her hibiscus leaves and flowers.
Check out this video of her eating the flower. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebV_1oRu9BQ
