Glass Tongue!

Look really closely and you can see the tongue of the baby on the far left hitting a tiny silkworm on the mulberry leaf in the middle. You can see the foliage right through the little tongue. Seven-week old Trioceros quadricornis gracilior, captive born and bred.

Thats a new way to feed silkies!

It's the only way I can get the silkworms spread out and without a lot of silk and frass. I just thread the leaves on a skewer and place around so no one gets tangled--my big fear. The silkworms climb right on so I don't have to spend hours picking itty bitty single silkworms and placing them in the cage.
