Give me some ideas for protecting my floor from water/spray

i have plastic carpet protector rolled under my cham cages atm, but it's not going to last longterm, water is starting to get through the edges that are coming up and i don't want water trapped between plastic and my carpet :0. It's that stuff you can roll across the floor, think a giant roll of packing tape, but for your carpet... I need something like a tarp, but not so crappy looking? I have a pretty big area to cover. Can someone recommend something that will look decent and is waterproof. Yes i know drainage, but with a free range and misters, theres bound to be a lot of splash.

@nightanole i have a drainage tray, i just need something to cover the floors completely. Water sprays all over the place for me.

@JacksJill that looks nice, but is pretty expensive, wonder if there's cheaper.

I think garden stores sell things like plastic tarps to keep cooler plants shaded. Might wanna go check to see what they got

Yeah i have some tarps but they get all wrinkled and tacky looking, my chams insist on luxury. Maybe there's some better looking ones though lol.

try those interlocking foam tiles, they come in all sorts of patterns now, even ones that look like hardwood floor or tile. orrr.. just tile that area your cage is on? Or get that interlocking hardwood flooring and put an edge around it, so it looks like its on a wood platform.

Idk why i haven't thought about that, i have a ton of those here already. My cats tore them up though. Water mist seep through the cracks in them as well, but maybe i could put a plastic tarp down and put those on top?!? Good ideas friends!
