Ghost Mantis

Steve made me buy some of his Ghost mantis at the Super Show, they are neat little bugs… I had my macro out today so I took a few pictures, who else had them?

Right now they are the size of my finger nail, full grown they will be about 3"... If I get bored with them then I suppose I can feed them off. For now they are little pets.

I had a pet praying mantis that I caught when I was back in Ohio. They are incredible little critters and I personally would have a hard time using them as feeders :[

Where do I sign

I have caught some before in the wild in California. Always those medium sized green ones. Sometimes they are really chill!

They are so cool

They are one of the few mantids that can be kept communially

I would love a few of these... in a range of colours they come in. Brown through to red through to green
