How can we expect to provide people with the best possible information on chameleon care when we can't even manage a proper thermal gradient for our own mascot?!? He's never had UV, his temperatures are all wrong, he's sitting in fluffy white substrate, and snow is not a proper hydration method!

(After a couple of tense threads, I thought we could use a laugh!) :D

In all actuality, the amount of UVB is intensified by the bright white snow. I would be much more concerned about the substrate if it were a yellow color. That would be a sure sign of inadequate hydration. Also, just because we say that no substrate is best, there is no one correct answer. Remember, each animal is an individual and not all will fall under the "best practices" of the care sheets.
