Ok so i got 50 large crickets that a local shop had. It came with some slimmy green stuff in the box with them. Is that like bug.burger or something??? It smelled horrible. Anyways, i got carrots and mustard greens and collard greens. Ive seen many youtube videos and some people put oat meal in there. Is that a good thing for crickets who are going to be fed to a chameleon? I have also a little bin i put some potting soil in and i soaked the soil. Does everything sound right in my cricket box?

Thanks in advance for the info.

Also its been very warm here in so cal the past few weeks, do i really need a heat pad?

Heat is what will really activate them. In my case I have my cricket tubs sitting on 100 deg. They breed like mad. I have never tried it with a small number of crickets like 50 so I don't know what your results will be. I usually have 1K+ Going.

Skip the oatmeal.
