Hey, how's it going? I was wondering what's a good temperature to take a chameleon outside? Say, maybe 70? Higher? I'm really looking forward to taking him outside more, but I dont want him to get sick. Also, can the little guys catch a cold?

those temps are fine. even in the 60's would be ok. I don't know about colds but they can get respiratory infections which I guess is equivalent to a cold for them.

Well awesome! I wasn't gonna take him out today because it's only 66 out, but thanks for the good news!

as long as there is some sun for him to warm up it is fine.

i took my boy out yester day first time out beside trips to vet and he didnt get to enjoy that. yesterday he was so nervous his claws left marks in my arm lol

Says its 71 degrees here but its windy so I'm not going to take Angel out. Ringo doesnt like coming out of his home so his dady will have to deal with him lol

Yeah I know what you mean. Mine was kinda nervous as well for awhile at first.
