General health and improvement

I'm new to the forum so hopefully I've got the right place to post this.
I've had my veiled for roughly a year and my best guess as to his age Is around fourteen months. I can't feed as often as I'd like because of an ant problem but he gets ten to fifteen crickets three times a week and I do repti vite and a calcium supplement with d3 once a week. His enclosure is 16x16x30 (hoping to upgrade that soon) furnished with mostly fake plants, he has one live one I'm not sure the species of. I use one one hundred watt basking bulb and a 5.0 uvb lamp. I mist two to three times daily with warm/Luke warm water and give him showers one or two times a week depending on the time I have. He has no significant health issues that I am aware of. I just want to know if there's anything I can do to improve his overall quality of life and health. Or just tips and tricks.

Welcome! If you haven't already, I'd suggest reading the forum's cham husbandry articles located under the Resources tab. They may give you some good tips and the information to back them up. His diet and supplementation could be improved, in fact I'm a bit surprised he doesn't have some skeletal issues based on the description of your dusting schedule. Anyway, here's what it should be:

1. Dust with plain calcium (no added vitamin D3) each feeding. As an adult he doesn't need to eat every day. Every other is OK. I usually give them a snack one day and a full feed the next. This way he could get a bit of plain calcium each day.
2.Dust with calcium WITH added vit D3 once every 2 weeks.
3.Dust with a herp multi-vitamin once every 2 weeks.

Crickets on their own are not a great diet. No one insect feeder provides complete nutrition. I'd suggest varying it with all or any of the following...cultivated roaches, silkworms, hornworms, superworms, bluebottle flies, occasional waxworms, Also, the diet your crickets get does matter too. Gutloads offered at most pet shops are pretty poor quality. Forum sponsors offer some very good ones!

How long have you been using the UV bulb? If its older than 6 months get a new one.

My bulb is in need of a change I know that and I'll get some plain calcium today and do what I can to follow ghos those schedules thank you
