Completely agree with this, but either way I try to have a visual barrier between all separate species.I'm not sure how big that "Giant Standing Day Gecko" is. If it's significantly bigger then I wouldn't put them side by side. I breed Crested Geckos. I've got my glass cages side by side. The breeding groups see the group next door. No problems with that. If your Day Gecko is a lot bigger it may be perceived as a predator by the Cresties.
