Can you house crested gekos in a cage next to a gaint standing day gecko without a barrier in between?

syn should be able to answer that but i always put a barrier up between my animals u never know....

How big is the Day Gecko?

I'm not sure how big that "Giant Standing Day Gecko" is. If it's significantly bigger then I wouldn't put them side by side. I breed Crested Geckos. I've got my glass cages side by side. The breeding groups see the group next door. No problems with that. If your Day Gecko is a lot bigger it may be perceived as a predator by the Cresties.

Since one is diurnal and the other fairly nocturnal it might be okay but I would still put a visual barrier in between them.
Why risk that their reaction would be stressful to each other?

The day gecko is a little bigger than the cresties. So far the cresties are hanging out on the side closest to the day. The day hangs out on the other side of his cage due to lighting. his basking light is on that side.

Completely agree with this, but either way I try to have a visual barrier between all separate species.
Cresteds don't see chameleons, chameleons don't see tokay, tokay doesn't see bearded... etc. etc.

Though one of my cresteds really does enjoy "interaction" with other cresteds.
