good idea to change it. If you wanted a substrate, a sand/cocofibre mix would probably work. but safest is no substrate at all.

im gonna leave the fuzz a bit longer just to be 100% sure i donnt wanna kill a baby when will i notice development in an egg??

i dont think its too wett they didnt swell

If it's is a bit too wet, mold can spread. If there's mold on it, it's not going to hatch. Best to just junk it.
