Hi
I left a little container of damp sand long enough that there are now quite a number of fungus gnats in it (not escaping from the holes in the lid, luckily). Im thinking that this could be an incredibly easy source of food for baby mantis and maybe even baby chameleons, in combination with fruit flies, pin heads, little silkworms, little roaches etc. I cant think of any feeder thats easier than to just Leave out some damp sand/soil for a week, then put a lid on, wait for flies/gnats, release gnats into enclosure, repeat.
Any reason why gnats should not be used?
