My chameleon was in an extremely awkward position in his sleep and when I went to fix him he dicided to jump and landed on his sideish, he made a couple weird breaths and stayed stiff for a few moments until I started to freak out, I later set him back closed the cage and now am super worried, how can I check if he's okay, and will he remember this i don't want him to be scared in his sleep now

Chameleons sleep in very weird positions sometimes Do not disturb them when they are sleeping unless it is a emergency They need total dark and a drop in temp to sleep well.
