fruits and veggies

So Hermie, my 2ish year old cham has suddenly decided that fruits and veggies are good. He has decided dthat he loves apples.... I offered him a piece thinking he would not be interested and next thing I know he's sucking on it and gulp it's gone. Offered him another piece and he snatched it with his teeth and pulled it away ... after a few more pieces (small with no skin) I stopped. Lettuce was also apparently a good choice for him today as he munched on some of that.

I'm totally confused as he has NEVER EVER been willing to eat fruits or veggies before ... I'm assuming that he needs/craves something in them so was planning on letting him continue if he so desires ... any advice?

thats great! BTW lettuce has almost no nutritional value. try collard and dandilion. also berries are nice, to.

Lettuce...romaine is the better choice over iceburg....

A veiled chameleon can be given dandelion greens, kale, collards, endive, escarole, squash, carrots, zucchini, sweet potato, sweet red pepper, etc. and a little bit of apple, pear, melon, etc.
