Fruit fly cultures

Hi...I have been making my own cultures now since May. Was wondering, when the culture is done, can I just reuse the container and lid? I would think if you wash out the container well it's fine but was not sure about the lid. Can that be cleaned off as well to be reused?

I soak mine in 10-20% bleach water for a couple days and they come out looking like new.
