My mother decided it'd be fun to flip iver my cultures and killed all my ff's!! I need some urgently.. If you are in south florida, please let me know!

Thanks to both of you.

Jann, i'll try Bens.. I just didnt want to make such a long trip north, specially since i am in school all the way down in coral gables

For the Hydei (spelling) try petsmart. The cultures are a bit small but only cost $5 here. Enough to at least get a culture started. Maybe get a couple for feeding for now.

I forgot to start new media and lost both of my cultures or I would offer to send you some.

Thank you, I will check them out.. since not many people keep "different" reptiles, or even breed them, not many pet stores have FFs.

The melos from Petco have wings and glide and it's really really irritating. I know because I was in this exact situation a few weeks ago.

Yeah, no kidding. I did not even have reptiles that ate FFs when I started my cultures. I wanted them for my carnivorous plants- I had to drive around a bit to find some. Fruit Flies are perfect feeders for Droseras (sundews) and Pinguiculas (Butterworts)

Sarracenias, VFTs and some droseras (Mostly in the binata complex) I keep outside. Just about everything else is inside under lights. Tried moving the cephs out, that did not go so well. Will try again when they recover from the sunburns :(
