friendly cham?

Hey so I just got a panther chameleon on june 24, he's 3 months old, anyways I heard the chams don't like to eat or drink in front of anyone, but this one eats and drinks in front of my family and I. I even started to hand feed him and he eats out of it like there's no big problem. I know you should wait at least two weeks, but honestly I think he's ready for me to start just hand feeding for most of the time to get him to go on me. Any advice, is this normal or is he just really friendly?

Welcome to the forums. It's not a problem to handfeed him as much as you want as long as he's not stressed. My guys are very friendly. It's super nice to have friendly chameleons.

I actually think most panthers tend to be like that. All 3 of mine took to hand feeding within days.

Hold your hand out and see if he wants to climb on. I wouldn't force him though
