After going through some elaborate home built cage designs I have come to the conclusion that I will free range my chameleon. In free ranging is there anything different I need to be aware of. He is going to be held in a 3.5' x 4' chameleon ''box'' with a wall that is 1' tall. He will have several cham healthy plants reaching up to 8' tall and appropriate lighting.

A one foot tall wall will probably not be sufficient to keep him enclosed.

I would make the wall at least a couple of feet high for a veiled or panther.
