So I found this small ficus tree we weren't using and added some extra branches and vines to go across the corner walls. Then I added Atticus's (my Oustalet cham) outdoor cage in the corner. I have a 6ft cage, but I didn't know how to add it to this and we don't really have enough space to fit it into this room. So this is where he is staying at the time and he seems to love it. I still need to find a spot for his dripper, I also plan on adding more to it when I have the time. Is there anything wrong with him crawling down and exploring? I walked in on him a couple of times on my xbox and guitars lol. Tell me what you think about this setup!

Sorry if they come up as sideways pictures I am too lazy to fix them lol

Him getting down and exploring has its risks. Such as him being RIGHT on the other side of ur door when u open it. Or getting lost and not being able to find heat. Sticking his hands in an outlet. Getting lost.. I'm not sure of the room setup much danger could be delt with. Just put a 12" tall "wall" around it.

Yeah I never though of those possibilities. I still haven't figured out how he gets down or if he falls(lets hope not) I always find him on my curtains when I leave the room for 5 minutes. I hate him being in his cage though he always looks bored so I decided to change it up a little bit. I might put his cage somewhere next to this and just take him out occasionally.

To keep him where you want him, focus the lights, height, feeders, UV, and a dripper in his free range tree. Make convenient paths to places that are safe so he'll tend to stay there. As he get used to his space and realizes it provides what he wants he won't wander as much as time goes on. Room hazards can be dealt with pretty easily. Wouldn't worry too much about electrical sockets, but you can get those child proofing plugs for any unused outlets (hard to imagine you have any left after all the cham support things like lights, etc). Get some cardboard and make vertical walls to block off any places you don't want him to get to. Cut up an appliance shipping box into panels higher than he can reach, make some supporting feet, or wedge it in place with boxes or furniture. If you don't want him on the curtains you can always fold them above his reach or take them down. If anything heavy might fall on him move it, box it up, or block it off. To keep him from getting right underfoot at the door you could either leave the door open but walled off from the floor so you can simply step over the wall to get in. Or, don't use the door and hang a curtain in the doorway. Free ranging chams can really be great!

Free ranging is great - but sometimes you think you have cham-proofed a room and well . . .

He's getting really good at climbing very smooth surfaces. Darn that tail! Luckily he couldn't get to the light. The problem is, I took him down because I didn't want him to fall. He promptly walked right on by me a few minutes later to get back to the lamp! Stubborn thing.

Maybe that purple chair spooked him! :D:p
