Fred is not a boy! How many eggs?

Came home today and found 23 eggs in my Oustalet's cage and he (no she) is still dropping them. We don't have a laying bin because everyone said that it was a boy. How many eggs do they usually have? When should she be done laying? When should I make a laying bin for the next time? I only have 1 Oustalet and don't plan on breeding.

You should probably make a laying bin anyway. :\

For the eggs that are left over.

I've heard usually they have up to 40 eggs max, never heard of more than that. But then again there are small clutches like 10-15.

I imagine they are much like panthers so there probably shouldn't be to many more eggs. Still get a laying bin though. Looks like you have a fredalina

5 more eggs yesterday and 2 more today for a total of 35 eggs. She ate 3 crickets today so I think she is done laying. Anyone know when she would be ready to lay again? I hope to be ready next time.

I think Fred is still acceptable for a name. My dad used to have a cat that he called "Fido". LOL!!!!!
