Oh man I love finding chameleon people from "out there in the real world". Get him on the forums!

Guy with the leather glove = wuss. LOL! A simple hug and im sorry would cure the tension.

Good looking panther! congrats!

What characteristics classify a "PURE AMBILOBE"?

They come from Ambilobe:p
The guy Curt posted is a great example of their physical "characteristics".
Im really excited to see updates on your new additions Curt!

Id love to go see these guy's in the wild first hand to see the differences. To me a ambilobe has the V bar and solid red turrets.

Some do have white stripes but i have secretively wondered if this is a cross c/b specimen or even a cross from the wild.

The sire has a Y bar and red turrets:D

Heck, mine has neither.
He has a Y-ish type bar, but that adult Curt posted has two Y bars, and is just PACKED with bars in general!

My guys sire (Franklin from Curt) has a very prominent Y bar.
My guy (Donahue, 6months old) is still developing his reds.
I am also interested to see what the chameleons living in Ambilobe right now look like.
I know I have an Ambilobe, but I see so many CB variations, and have so little
WC examples to compare with. I wonder if there is any difference in the variations we see in CB populations, and the variations in WC populations, as there are bound to be variations in both.
I love my Ambilobe, hes the most beautiful one ever! You couldnt convince me otherwise and I wouldnt trade him for the world! Thats whats most important to me.
There is still the curiosity though...
