I'm still in high school, a Senior from Honolulu, HI. Our campus is right by the mountain so if you go back there you can actually find Jacksons back there from time to time! (I skipped lunch to see for myself one day). One day on my way to art class I happened to be looking at a bush and something caught my eye. A baby girl Jackson was just sitting there. Just as I was about to go look at her a bunch of people saw her and surrounded her, they all started picking her up and making her climb on things, the poor little thing was terrified! One of them was talking about keeping it for themselves in a PENCIL BOX. I honestly got a little upset, told him he didn't know what he was doing and would kill the poor little soul. So I took her with me to class, after having her with me for an hour I asked the nearby pet store to hold onto her for me while I was in school and I would pick her up after. I named her Emerald. Here's some before and after pictures :).

Nice job with that girl, glad you got her away from the stupid group. You did not likely save her tiny life.

I think Laurie ment to say you did likely save her lil life;)
good job and enjoy her

Thank you! And you really should! I live in a valley, a lot of houses but so much land unexplored, and I always find them eating hibiscus flowers or up in the trees.

O.O I envy people that don't live in big cities :( I honestly hate big cities.
That's cute :) I so wanna go to my backyard and suddenly find chameleons and then I can play with them :/

you should breed her and release the babys to the wild!!

lucky you! i live in chicago right in the city to much stress all day everyday.

everyday after work i just like to come home and seat down and feed my veiled chameleon hes so calm and peaceful and just watch him eat :)
makes my day. :D
