...I have a question. My sister and her Boyfreind have a Debate every year on this one topic, ( I am glad Julia and I agree on this subject) and now I find myself polling as many people as I can to find out what the general concensus is. Granted everyone has their own oppinion... So lets not get in a heated debate here...

When Decorating the tree...

White Lights, or Multi Colored Lights? Blinking or Solid?

My second question would be... How the heck do I make this a Poll...I still can't figure that out.

Oh Yeah... My answer Is Solid White Lights over here!!! Blinking Colored Lights give me seizures.:D

HAPPY HOLIDAYS EVERYONE!!!

my mission is to be as tacky as possible. When i own my home, im gonna be the guy with millions of multicolored lights, inflatable snow globes, the waving santa on the roof, and to top it off i want the projection on the side of the house. Perfect.

Hahahaha. Griswalds (sp)? I love that movie.
Personally I like red lights.

Well, I have had the traditional white, unblinking lights for many years, but after I turned 40, I decided to go a little crazy and now have unblinking, colored lights.

We just got some nice multi color LED's for our tree. They dont blink but we mix n match ones on the house that do blink though. We put several thousand on the house and yard, we add a few more every year :)

Agreed! I like elegant trees. White, non blinking, silver accents, cobalt blues....

I agree! :D

I dislike blinking coloured lights after coming home from a little too much 'Christmas cheer"

No Christmas tree for me this year cos its just me and the chams but I have my Christmas stocking up!

Ha!
Starting over ... picture didn't make it in the post ..

*ahem*

Why stop at white lights?
Our 5 year old thinks the tree should be green ... but his daddies are fabulous;)
BTW, the lights don't blink.

You must have had so much fun decorating that with your sons!

It was a blast .... I'm kind of a control freak about the christmas tree ... It was a great lesson in letting go for me.
I didn't go back and fix or re-do anything!

Ha, me too, but Devon and I don't have kids yet (and not until we are in our thirties!) and we didn't have any decorations or a tree this year. Typically we agree on theme, though, so it isn't a big deal when we do- let's hope our daughter isn't a fan of neon pink blinking lights and inflatable snowmen! :D
