Food intake slowing down. age or ill??

My panther is 8-9m over the past 4 weeks is eating and weight has changed drastically!!
He put on:
11g in 11days
11g in 6 days while shedding
but after shedding has gone from eating 5 large feeders a day no 3 or 4 every other??
Random upset tummy no white at all clear bubbley fluid? poo normal, then all fine again..
3g in 8 days
Did not poo for next 5 days instead of his normal every/every other
1g in 5 days
Poo was sorounded in jelly? A little dehydrated but nothing mager mostly white.

is this just him getting older and slowing down or should I be worried, he's drinking and activities are normal. He's 102g
Though I saw some stringy siliver in his mouth but only a liitle might be normal? Keeping a close eye on him.

Overall I think I would see a vet. You have several things going on, each is not a big deal alone, but added together they could add up to a problem. Anything stringy in his mouth is a concern.

Also at his age most of us feed every other day or every two days.

Ok thanks, good to know about the food though at least that bits normal
got him to open his mouth yesterday and it definitely looked a bit stringy but didn't when he onpened it a few minutes later (he was opening it because of what I was doing not to breath) odd as he dosent seam to have any other symptoms. ?. Yet. But ill get an appointment next week just to be safe thanks for your help

Poorly boy!

I took him to the vets today he has a kidney infection 3weeks of antibiotics. Hope he'll feel better and start eating more again soon ♡

He finished his antibiotics after two weeks and is looking much better eating about 3 large feeders a day and pooing every 2-3 days and putting weight on again nicely hes about 10m old and weighs about 130g xx

Glad to see everything went well for you. Just curious did the Vet give any indication what might have caused the kidney infection?
