Follow up from yesterdays pairing

so i thought i would do a quick little follow up to yesterday.

i seperated them last night, and put Leona into a temporary cage so she can be comfotable while she is visiting me.
well this morning i thought i would try pairing them again, well she wanted not part in it. as soon i put them together Gizmo started getting all purdy and bobbing his head all kinds, but she took one look went right dark with vibrant pinky peach stripes and turned and charged about 3 steps towards him gaping and hissing, so i decided not too risk my boy to any aggression and removed him.
He continuned to search around head bobbing, i felt bad for him but i think he has done the job.

anyway a few pics.

and Gizmo got his fancy clothes on, ive never seen him pattern his face like this.

and sooo blus the flash washed out alot of it, but the bluest ive even seen

these are the color she went im assuming there are the "ive been mated leave me alone colors" gravid?? or just leave me alone?? will it take a few days, week to see gravid colors??

Most likely producing eggs....all you can do is try her every few days or so and see if the reaction continues.

It is ok to try, as Lynda said, but be careful. I would be heartbroken if he got hurt. I am betting she is already gravid. Gizmo knows what he is doing.

yes i put gizmo in alot lower in the cage to give a second to see how they r going to react i brought her into his enclosure twice more and both times she wanted to rip his face off... i just put my hand between ( and got bit by her ) and stoppped her from getting my boy..
poor lil guy was all dressed up and headbobbing but she was havin no part in it
