recently i discovered that my pothos is crawling with fruit flys and i didn't put them there lol i know some would love this but me it became a nuisance as i had two fly up my nose. I was gonna dilute some vinegar with water and spray the soil. Does anyone know if this ok, or does anyone any other ideas?

Fungus gnats.. I control these simply by letting my plants dry out as much as possible between waterings, that is, without causing the plants to wilt.

There are a few other methods, most of which are not chameleon safe. However, letting your plants dry a little more should do the trick.

Note, these critters feed on decaying organic matter. You typically should not be able to host these conditions in a proper chameleon setup.

I totall saw "flys in my pants" when I read the title..haha it must be time for bed! lol I got some of those annoying little guys too, but I got some plants to switch out every week to let them dry out and it took care of the problem. Now I have pretty plants on my patio and my chameleon cage!:p
