What is a bb fly?

I feed the house flies with milk powder. For the fruit flies: overmature banana with some sugar and some cornmeal/oatmeal or something like that, and put a little piece of an egg crate on the top for the flies to sit on.

Powdered buttermilk mixed with sugar, 50/50 ratio, same for the house flies.

Water as plan as can be with some wood chips so they do not fall in and make a mess drowning. Hope this helps!

If you are trying to breed BB flies you will have to tolerate horrible smells.

Unlike house flies, BB flies need a decaying, rotting corpse of some sort to lay eggs.
