Fluorescent tube from Home Depot or Lowe’s

Fluorescent tube from Home Depot or Lowe’s For plant growth only 6500k would it be safe or a regular cfl from Lowe’s or home depo I heard a lot of mix things from eye problems I just need some info before using please ?????
 
So any cfl or fluorescent tube will be fine not to mention I have a uvb 5.0 already I’m just lookin for plant growth?
 
I'm using 3 of the $39 LED plant lights from Home Depot and they've been making my Sheflerra thrive

Good to know good to know just was worried lot of ppl were sayin there Chameleons were goin blind from cfl bulbs didn’t wann get it then it go blind
 
These are CFL
And YES. They're horrible.
But they're also not plant lights.
They're lousy UVB.

The eye problems with the CFL UVBs, were intense spot based UV light, mostly UVA, UV light in large amounts is very dangerous and those CFLs concentrate a lot in that small bulb, to try and spread over a large area, that is why they were (are?) causing those issues. Plant lights do not produce UV, so there should not be an issue. (well they do, but small amounts, unlike the UVB bulbs.)
