Fluorescent tube from Home Depot or Lowe’s For plant growth only 6500k would it be safe or a regular cfl from Lowe’s or home depo I heard a lot of mix things from eye problems I just need some info before using please ?????
The eye problems with the CFL UVBs, were intense spot based UV light, mostly UVA, UV light in large amounts is very dangerous and those CFLs concentrate a lot in that small bulb, to try and spread over a large area, that is why they were (are?) causing those issues. Plant lights do not produce UV, so there should not be an issue. (well they do, but small amounts, unlike the UVB bulbs.)
