Florida heat outdoor plants?

Many of the plants seen in box stores that are 4' or larger are grown in FL, in the sun or under shade cloth, so your ficus, hibiscus, to draceana, palms, and other typically indoor or patio plants are going to be ok. Some may be more sensitive to burning full sun and you shouldn't expose your chameleons to that anyway, without shading. Aim for eastern exposure or morning sun or shaded late evening sun, never mid day, full sun. Many of these plants will take nights in the 40sF, but will not appreciate frost or extended cold periods.
