Flightless Fruit Flies - husbandry

Background: I have a colony of FFF that's doing great. I've been keeping them in a 10gal with Press 'n Seal Wrap (with tiny holes in it) to keep them inside. I'm also growing various carnivorous plants with the flies cuz they need to eat too. The humidity is up, substrate is garden soil and leaf litter, and they are under grow lights.

Problem: Today I noticed the start of fungi growing in the soil. Do I have to toss the whole FFF colony? The babies they are for aren't due until Oct - Feb. So I have time.

You have a colony of FFF in a 10 gallon container in soil? I don't see how that would work. I kept FFF colonies for over 10 years and I know they need a fresh home every few weeks.
