I've had that problem to. They are impossible to fix.

Just one of the reasons I hate these things.
Who ever the genious was that designed this substitute for a cage, never had a chameleon.

I'll be different! :)

Been using them for almost 1.5 years, 4 of them in fact with absolutley no issues!

I've had one for a year with no problems, but that doesn't mean I like them.
I only used if for about 2 months, then I put it in storage, after that, it went into the garbage.
They do have their positive sides, but they don't outweigh the negatives.
Because they are hard to see in, then that means they are hard to see out off.
Shy species would be great for reptariums.
IMHO, you need to get off your wallet and just buy and aluminum screen cage.
I have 6 unused ones in the garage and I just ordered three more yesterday.
You can never have to many cages, just make sure they aren't reptariums.

The actual mesh seems to tight for the enclosure.

Geezer get a terry thatcher viv there not that much and 100% not gonna fail you and you can SEE your chameleon also!!:D

Or do what i did and buy some off tyler at bluebeast, sorted out all the shipping to the uk and was much cheaper then terry,so i got 6!!!!:D

You have to buy at least 5 to ship to the UK? :( I only have one chameleon

That will be changing hopefully in the next month or two, where I can ship a single cage to Europe. Right now, to ship a single cage costs more than the cage (by quite a bit), plus some countries charge fees upon arrival to you... I'm working on making it more do-able (by my shipping prices going down), hopefully this summer or fall at latest.

i love them no problems and they dont cost 300 dollars for a cage take it to a dry cleaners they will ereplace the zipper no problems dont you ladies get your panties in a bunch

I can say from personal experience these things suck. No denying it...
That's not to say you can't keep a chameleon alive in one, but they are living in the dark and it is not ideal.

This is one of those situations where the question isn't "what will work?" , but rather, "which is BEST for your cham?"

Thanks,

Joe

i just like the 250 gal where can your get a cage that size for under a hundred bucks they are great for adult mellers the big cage i mean
