Flat lighting?

I just moved in with my fiancee and space is very limited. Pascals tank nearly touches the ceiling and theres no other spot for him. His lights no longer fit on top. I can get a repti sun 5.0 to fit on the top (the long skinny flat light) to take care of his uvb needs. I was wondering if there is a similar option for heating? Is there another flat tube that i can use that will suit his temperature needs? I have a lamp sort of ghetto rigged for now but it is by no means a suitable permanent solution. And there is literally only like 2 inches of space if that much. Please recommend a product!

Cage is 18 in by 4 feet tall

I do not know if there are linear basking bulbs. Seems there should be, but to could always clamp It to the cage and have it shoot through the side of the cage rather then straight through the top. Does that make sense?

What does the cage sit on? Can you lower the stand? The other option as mentioned would be to arrange the clamp lamp so it shines through the side as close to the top as possible. Make sure the ceiling isn't getting overheated directly above the lamp too.
