Fish tank heater in misting reservoir

I use half a heating pad on medium under the reservoir, the other half under my dubia. no problems.
...thats a good idea..too bad i cant fit my dubias next to my bucket or id borrow that pad idea lol
OK, lets talk...Heaters and plastic containers holding water are a risk. Put your hand in the nozzle mist from a heated reservoir, and you will find that the temperature rise is not significant.
My water is at 74 degrees without a heater.
It is your time and money, but your water would have to be hotter than hot water tanks are set at to obtain a significant rise in mist temperature.
Fill a spray bottle with a fine mist setting with hot water, and spray your hand, the temperature of the spray will be much less than the water temperature in the bottle.

I kind of agree, unless your water is significantly cold I don't think its necessary. (But if your water is that cold, more than likely your whole room you keep your chams in is cold, and thats bad). I fill my dripper with purified water from my fridge that comes out pretty cold.. my cham doesn't seem to mind as he lets it drip onto his nose the whole time.
