First white Christmas in 80 years

Well not the first time we have had a white Christmas, because we have had snow on the ground Christmas day....but this is the first time in 80+ years that it has snowed on Christmas day and we are expected to get maybe up to 10 inches in some parts in higher elevation, which we are.....YEPEE!!.

Wow! I would so love a white Christmas! We have had so much rain here and several places has seen awful floods just hours before Christmas. If all the rain had been snow we would be well and truly snowed in by now!

I am quite thankful we did NOT have a white Christmas - it would have shut down the entire state of Florida! We did have a balmy 75 degree day - I went to work in a sweatshirt and returned without needing it!
