Until she's about 5 months old you can feed her as much as she will eat in a couple of minutes at one feeding. Once she is close to sexual maturity you need to be careful not to over feed veiled females because it leads to health issues such as egg inning, prolapse, MBD, etc.

Ok. So her grabbing at seemingly nothing with her tongue near the bottom of her plants is no big deal, though?

Can she get at anything where she's shooting her tongue? If she's trying to eat the dirt then she could be missing nutrients.

There are little spaces around the rocks where the dirt is visible... Should I be changing something up with her supplements? Putting more rocks to cover the dirt completely?
