A few minutes after this i look over and see him moving in a hurry. Out comes the tongue and he managed to catch a fly that i hadnt even seen. First wild kill

Tops saw my panther and turned yellow and started doing head bobs. I didnt know thats what they do when they court. Guess Tops doesnt realize my panther is a boy

If I'm not mistaken (and I may be), head bobbing is also a territorial display - shows everybody what a big, bad lizard you are, both attracting the ladies and showing the other males they can't compete with you.
