first time i give a show it goes WRONG!!!

so i had my male and female out trying a show for the FIRST time to see if they like it me female ran away and i put her away then my male and im holding him and hes drinking NON-STOP so i put him out of the water to catch up and about 5 minutes water is just pouring out of the mouth!!!!!!!!!!! mixed with saliva it was like clear gooey water and i was like OH CRAP!!! so he finished spitting it out and i put him in his cage and he started basking and i set the water to just right temperature not to hot and not to cold could he get a RI from this???

Did you literally put them under the water from the shower head?

yes your chameleons can aspirate easily doing this the wrong way.

no the shower head didnt want to go face to the wall so i put him sorta near the steam so ya you could say he was under it i think its a good way to hydrate them but next time ill try it in my other shower with vines or a plant in there

Haha yeah dude definitely don't put them directly under the water. Next time keep them on a plant or in their cage and bounce the water off the wall.
