First time giving medicine

After a visiting a veterinarian, I was given lactulose for, Tricky. I was told to give him 0.05 twice a day, and that I would need another person to help me restrain him and force his mouth open to get him to consume it.

I think I can give it to home without forcing anything. He will come up to me and let me spray in his mouth for water, so perhaps I can squirt the lactulose in there while I give him water?

If you can do that it is a lot easier that having to hold him and open his mouth. It will be better for both of you. Good luck.
